The Pierogi Place is a small family-owned business located in Mears, MI. We normally have 2 or 3 employees that work with us. We spend Monday through Thursday handmaking our pierogies while we laugh and solve the world’s problems together. We put a lot of hard work and love into our product, so you can feel good about serving our pierogies to your family.
Dad and mom, Steve & Marilyn Marciniak, started this business in 1984 with the idea of providing the same high quality pierogi that my dad’s grandmother had made for her boarders and family. We have now joined the family business as the next generation of pierogi makers. As we continue to uphold the family tradition, we are pleased to boast that we are keeping the same high standards as when dad and mom brought to market their first handmade pierogies just like Grandma used to make.
How We Make Pierogies
Our pierogies contain no additives or preservatives. We start with fresh cabbage, potatoes and onions peeled by hand, and cheese to make our pierogies. You can actually pronounce all of the ingredients on our labels! This is how Grandma prepared her pierogies–she insisted on the best!
We are very proud of our pierogies and our hope is that you enjoy eating them as much as we enjoy making them.
