Our Story Begins...

 

        When my husband and I started this business in 1984, it was with the idea of providing the same high quality pierogis that Steve's grandmother had made for her boarders and family.  We are very pleased to boast that we have kept the same high standards as when we first brought to the market a handmade, homemade pierogi, just like grandma used to make.

        Our pierogis contain no additives or preservatives.  We start with fresh, real cabbages, potatoes, onions, and cheeses to make our pierogis.  You will actually be able to pronounce all of the ingredients on our labels!  This is the way your grandmother prepared food-she insisted on the best.

        The Pierogi Place pierogis are available in Western Michigan from Grand Rapids to Traverse City in many stores.  Our pierogis are pre-cooked and individually frozen and packed, one dozen per package, 10 ct for farmers' cheese.  Pierogis can be sent nationwide by UPS overnight.
